Textile artist Jivanand Jha, who works for Bihart Textile Foundation, has hand-painted a scene on Kardo’s natural khadi fabric in a traditional Madhubani style. Madhubani painting depicts people and their associations with nature and deities from ancient epic texts. The art hails from Madhubani, a district in Northern Bihar, the name meaning ‘Forest of Honey’.
