ABOUT FRIEND

I opened FRIEND in 2012 in New Orleans’s Lower Garden District to bring casual style to my friends and neighbors—and the city’s many visitors. The idea was to offer clean, unfussy, and fun designs amidst the overly serious (and often dour) state of menswear at that time.

Thirteen years later, that concept remains much the same. We moved downtown in 2016 to be part of Ace Hotel (now The Barnett), where we expanded our offerings to music, artist collaborations, local designs, and one-of-a-kind pieces from around the world. Our leisure-focused ethos is best summed up by the motto on our front doors: “Never-ending good times.”

This website represents the next expansion for FRIEND. We hope to reach more of you online and keep in better touch with the fantastic people we’ve met on this great adventure.
