Melding the new (Japanese sewing machines) with the old (hand embroidery, hand loomed fabrics, natural dying) results in a product both timeless and contemporary.
The workshop partners with a rehabilitation center for women encountering domestic violence, and provides for its artisans an open air workshop, on-site day care, garden, and living wages.
