Created by Suraj Narain Titanwala, a fourth-generation block printer and natural dyer, it carries forward a legacy rooted in traditional techniques. The natural dyeing process used here is unique, involving hand Kantha stitch embroidery applied post-dyeing by Suraj’s wife Meera Devi and their daughters. This level of craftsmanship ensures that each garment is distinct, with variations that reflect the handmade nature of the product.
Note on Dye and Care:
This shirt may show patchy dyeing and marks as a result of the natural dyeing process. Natural fading may occur from washing or sunlight. Dry crocking may also occur, so it is recommended to avoid pairing with light-colored items until the excess dye has washed out to prevent color transfer.
